Why? On campus housing was perfect for me initially because it allowed me to meet more international students. However, if I was there for more than 1 semester, I would have moved to an apartment because the facilities were very poor on campus.

Course recommendations:
Many Danish students continued to speak in DANISH even after their teachers asked them to speak in English, as our classes were in English. They even protested having to work with international students in groups. I found that very offensive, and chose to stay with international students. However, there were also many nice Danish students.. you just have to be lucky in who you meet. Anyway, emphasis is placed on group work so make sure you choose wisely because there will be a lot of work!

Personal spending habits:
Denmark is a very very very expensive country!! Everything was at least 1.5x the price in America, so it was hard getting adjusted to that. However, there is not much you can do about the cost.

Remember to have fun! Take lots of pictures from the beginning because you will have the most free time at the beginning of the semester.

In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
