If possible, book your flights in advance choosing the El Prat Airport. Ryanair flights (Girona airport) seem cheaper but then a bus RT ticket to the city centre will cost you around 20 Euros.

The most important thing is to come with an open mind and the readiness to learn and experience a new culture and a way of life. Don't travel too much and leave time to actually see Barcelona because it is an amazing city. Have fun, but don't get...

Courses are max 40 ppl, so contribution and staying awake is obligatory.
So is attendance in most classes, which can get a bit annoying.

If it is at all possible, study abroad. For many it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to live in another country. Don't obsess about the short-term sacrifices you make by going.

Barcelona is a great city. It offers to students both culture and social life. Housing is an important aspect of the experience: it is a real job to find a place, in a good district, with nice people. You should go a few days before the beginning...
