Make sure that if you are outside the EU that you have a health plan as doctors etc are expensive. Also make sure that you make the most of the peolpe that are there and the local are see and do things and get involved, it is great fun.

When in Rennes one should enjoy St Malo, Dinard and Mont St Michel, only few kilometers away and very cheap to get to by bus. Villejean is not the nicest looking part of the city but is well connected to the public transportation network (Metro S...

Learning local language before you go into a foreign country will help you a lot at the integration stage. Keeping in mind being optimistic will reduce the loneliness and homesickness when you are abroad.

Travelling all around Brittany is easy by train and hardly recommended, because it´s an extraordinary part of europe. Try to come in summer, it rains a lot in winter!

Travel as much as you can, cause who knows when you are going to be in France again! But it's also very costly!!! Try to safe as much as possible before you arrive and you'll be able to travel even more.

rent a car by yourself if there are enough people to share the fee, but if you are newcomer or want to travel by yourself, it is better to find a travel agency.
