Take advantage of your location and travel, especially south. For example, I would recommend Ponza island. Restaurants deserve a closer look. Via del Governo Vecchio is a good place to start. Look out for the Trevi, Pasquino cinemas and the Holl...

Make enjoying yourself your first priority. If you can get the study/fun balance right you'll have the time of your life while learning a lot and passing your exams too. make friends with italians in your classes who can help ypu with coursework...
