Description:
Founded in New Mexico's territorial days, NMSU today is a vibrant mix of Southwestern tradition and leading-edge technology. Historic buildings with red tile roofs mingle with modern libraries and laboratories on NMSU's expansive campus. Here you will find a major research university where the warmth of the people rivals that of the Southwestern sunshine.

There is a great deal to do in the area, but there is even more in a couple hours driving distance. Rent a car for a long weekend or a week, and drive down to Santa Fe, Phoenix, or the Grand Canyon. From there on Las Vegas is only a few hours away.
