it was a great experience and i do recommend it. russia is a difficult country, but I got used to it very fast. I just loved it. nothing else to say.

If you chose to go to Russia make yourself ready for a huge cultural shock. However, if you manage this you will certainly be able to manage most other things in life!

When buying tickets, make use of an international student card, it will pay off. Also, in Moscow, do not walk around alone when it's dark. Do not bring many clothes, as excess luggage is costly.

if you want, you can live very cheap but also quite expensive. for trips, just go to a woksal and go somewhere, there are a lot of nice places in the rest of russia

Well, concerning travelling I can recommend to do a trip to Petersburg and to feel the difference between Moscow and Petersburg. Also in summer Irkutsk is nice to visit although colleges also visited the town in december where it was quite cold. I...
