Description:
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was established on April 1, 1925. Its first three research institutes were in microbiology, chemistry and Jewish studies, with a total of 33 faculty members and 141 students.

Today, it includes four functioning campuses and nearly thousands of students. The University looks forward to the 21st century with full confidence that it will retain and even enhance its status as one of the world's leading universities.

Don't make the language barrier stopping you from going. There so many international students and they are all there to learn it!It is a great experience after all!

On the whole the experience was a great one. The city is, of course, constantly vibrant and dynamic, and despite the dangers that are ever present, they are often unseeable on a day to day basis.

Going to Israel I did not manage to improve my hebrew because so many people from all over the world were there and we either spoke english or french. A great place to start understanding the Middle East. Very warm people but tough on the outside.
