Why? I just prefer to do these things independently and find a place i know i will like

Travel, Activities, Nightlife take/s place both within and outside of the university/student environment

Course recommendations:
Just make sure you dont pick something taught in Catalan if you are not learning it too, its quite an easy trap to fall into.

before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
after: At ease in most situations

Personal spending habits:
Living costs in general were slightly lower, but i reated the year like one long holiday really, an experience of a lifetime, and so i ate out more, travelled more etc and so had no problems spending that bit more
