Being Brussels in the center of Europe you can visit a lot of countries/cities in one day and it isn't very expensive. For travelling, Belgium is a great place to do your Erasmus.

Although the university has a good reputation I think my home university, regarding the students international success and the selection criterias is far better then most of the continental european universities.

You will like Bruxelles, it is so international. For travelling, Brugge, Gent or Antwerp are great...and don't miss on the Carneval! There is one every weekend in another town during Carneval time!

Had a great time in the much underated city of brussels. It is a very beautiful city despite all the rumours you hear. Weather in summer time is surprisingly nice, while winter was even more wet and colder than Ireland.
