La Universidad de Alicante fue creada en octubre de 1979. La Universidad de Alicante, tras casi veinte años de existencia, presenta un muy relevante potencial para el desarrollo socioeconómico de la que es cuarta provincia en PIB total de España.

Una cincuentena de titulaciones ,más de setenta Departamentos Universitarios y unidades y grupos de investigación en Áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas, Experimentales, Tecnológicas, Humanidades, Educación y Ciencias de la Salud, cinco Institutos Universitarios de investigación proyectan una actividad investigadora de las más prestigiosas del país.

Take weekends to travel as much as you can in Spain. Last minute flights to madrid for example can go fo E10, definitely worth it!

Alicante is a great place and it is close to Madrid and Barcelona. Be sure to save money and meet people, so that you can visit these cities with them to lower the cost and have fun.
