Why? Because as a student, living on campus, gives one the opportunity to have a much subsidized facilities that will make life pleasing and much comfortable, and most of these facilities (e.g internet)are provided at a very low cost. In addition, one avoids the likely problems of living with house owners if one has to go for private homes.

Personal spending habits:
Its because of less standard facilities in my home country,which makes one to find something cheaper, though not of good quality. In addition, my host country lives on tax, and so you pay for almost everything except the air we breathe, if we dont pay it unknowingly. This is not the case in my country.
