Why? I enjoyed the mixture: living in a house with both native and foreign people, some of whom were students, others were working. I prefer the independence compared with university accomodation.

Students equally interact with the local and student community

Activities take/s place mostly within the university/student environment

Travel take/s place mostly outside the university/student environment

Nightlife take/s place both within and outside of the university/student environment

Course recommendations:
It was a very different teaching style to what I was used to. Skimming many subjects rather than taking a few and actaully understanding them. Mainly lectures and little to no opportunity for real discussion and interaction with the course, fellow students and lecturers.

It is more expensive for general living in Dublin than it is in Edinburgh

I wish I had known ...
That it would have been a fuller experience had I gone completely by myself. my boyfriend, who was not a student, came with me and at first it inhibited me from taking full advantage of all the benefits.
