Make sure you travel as much as you can when you're here, go up the Lapland, bring warm clothes, learn some basic swedish before you arrive.

Uppsala is nice because it is a student town, but also because it is very close to Stockholm, thus it is very easy to travel from this city.

See as much as you can, especially Lappland is worth going! Stockholm is nearby, take the Swebus express, with a student ticket for 45sek.
